Since as a heating contractor we provide energy efficiency we can also do that for your plumbing systems.  There are two places to look for efficiency improvements.  One of the obvious areas is in heating your water for bathing and washing.  There are many new energy efficient water heaters on the market.  We can provide a chimney vented water heater that is 25% more efficient than a standard model.  Power vented and tank-less water heaters make sense for some customers too.  There are even improved electric water heaters.  Please give us a call or send us an email to discuss the energy efficient options available to you.

---Water efficiency is also a growing concern among homeowners.  Is your water bill higher than you would like it to be?  There are a number of things you can do about this.  First, make sure you don’t have any leaking faucets or toilets.  Repair/replace these water wasters first.  Second, consider water saving fixtures and devices.  We suggest metered control water softeners and water saving toilets as the best places to achieve water savings.  Today’s 1.6 gallon per flush and even 1.28 gallon per flush toilets have very good performance characteristics while saving lots of water.  You can even increase your comfort by choosing a new toilet that is at chair or comfort height.

---Metered water softeners only regenerate when the water use in the home demands instead of every 3 days as most time clock softeners are set up to do.  This saves about 80 gallons of water and 10 pounds of salt for every time it doesn’t need to regenerate.

---Some customers, both residential & commercial have looked to save water by using low flow faucet aerators & shower heads. We are here to discuss all of these water saving options as well as any other plumbing needs you may have in your home or business.
