---About five years ago we built a house, and in that decision we looked into many ways to heat our home.  After looking at different systems and talking to many people, we decided to put in a Carrier Infinity forced air furnace with a heat pump.  The great thing about the heat pump it heats the house when temperatures are above 30 degrees, so that means September, October, November and most of December.  Also in spring, March, April, and May. So there are many months you do not use propane or Natural gas to heat the house.  The heat pump is very efficient and it does not increase my electrical bill hardly at all.  I am very happy that we went with the decision to include a heat pump with our heating system, and I’m sure that anyone who decides to add one to their system would be happy they did.
